PRESTIGE apartments could spring up from the rubble of Morecambe's former Grosvenor Hotel.
The blueprint for 37 apartments - including two penthouses - on the Sandylands promenade site is to go before Lancaster City Council's planning committee on Monday.
An outline scheme for the site was given the go-ahead last March, but developers have now sold the site to Rowland Homes. They say the original plans will remain unchanged except that parking spaces have been reduced because of worries that a basement car park was at risk of coastal flooding.
