A NEW Lake District "hill skills" business is offering more courses for those wanting to negotiate the high ridges and valleys in safety.
Wild Ridge Adventure, at Hesket Newmarket, is running a series of courses, ideal for beginners, later this month.
Owner and chief instructor Graham Uney said: "We have added further dates to our advertised programme, including a map and compass for a beginners course on May 16. The courses are restricted to just 12 people, so it is essential to book in advance."
The other new dates are mountain scrambling courses in the Coniston Fells on May 19 and on Great Gable on May 22, a mountain safety course at Carrock Fell on May 23, and a wildlife walk at St Bees Head on May 24.
