FULL frontal male nudity in all its glory' is to feature at the Lancaster Grand Theatre for the first time.
Three men are put through their paces as nude artist's models by a worldly wise female, teacher as Life Models takes to the stage tomorrow (Friday) and Saturday.
This funny yet poignant play is billed as starting where The Full Monty didn't dare to go.
Tim's a student, Jack's a stripper and Rod is on the dole. After practising posing they are thrown in at the deep end: posing naked in front of a class of students. How will they cope? Who will get the job?
Brought to Lancaster by the Settle Festival of Theatre at 7.30pm, the play was written and directed by Martin Lewton.
How do women see men and how do men see themselves? Life Models sttempts to answer those questions by beginning where The Full Monty left off. It's just as funny and every bit as poignant.
Martin says: "It's great to bring the play to this beautiful theatre. After the success of "Girls Night Out" at the Grand we are hoping that audiences will pack the theatre to see Life Models."
Colin Beesley plays Tim, Adam Blake takes the role of Jack and Martin himself plays Rod, with Erica Rogers as Gill.
Tickets cost £8 (£7 concessions) from the box office on 01524-64695.
