RUGBY League Conference Shield holders Bolton le Moors, who act as a feeder club to National League Two Swinton Lions, proved too strong for Lancaster.
The locals restricted them to a narrow 12-6 half time lead before Bolton's extra strength began to tell and they won' the second half by five tries to one for a 38-12 final score.
Lancaster took an early lead as Keith Hartlebury hoisted a high kick and Rob Shaw was on hand to touch down, with Neil Walker adding the extras.
But the afternoon turned sour for Walker as he suffered a badly dislocated shoulder.
Bolton took over in the second half, opening up the Lancaster defence twice in the first 10 minutes for Hindley and Simon Briggs to score.
Hindley completed his hat trick later in the half and Briggs and David Peel added further tries before Lancaster had the last say as Peter Edwards scored the game's final try in the last minute. Andy Garnett added the extras.
Lancaster's next game is away to Liverpool on May 22.
