Former Kirkby Stephen Grammar School student Daniel Murray is now playing for the Cumbria U20 squad. And current Kirkby Stephen pupils are also experiencing success. Ben Alderson has been selected for Cumbria U17 Development training, Peter Bland has been selected for Cumbria U15 and Daniel Capstick and Matthew Allison have been selected to make up two-thirds of the East Cumbria U14 front now. Joss Smart and Daniel Todd have also been selected for East Cumbria's U13 team.
