COMMUNITY projects around South Lakeland will get the go ahead after county councillors approved £86,000 of grants.
Members of Cumbria County Council’s Local Area Committee for South Lakeland have allocated their Local Capital Scheme funds.
Schemes set to benefit from the cash include improving disabled acess in Grange-over-Sands, installing street lighting along a footpath to Ghyllside Primary School, in Kendal, and contributing to play areas in Kirkby Lonsdale and Sedbergh.
