CHILDREN in South Lakeland will benefit from new play equipment after councillors approved grants worth more than £11,000.
Members of Cumbria County Council’s Local Area Committee have agreed to contribute £6,376 to the Brewery Pre-school, in Kendal, to improve the play area. They also agreed to pay £3,150 to Lindale Pre-school Nursery, and £1,493 to Church Walk Pre-school Nursery for equipment.
The grant money will come from the authorities Early Years Budget.
