AN ATM skimming device was found at a cash machine outside a Kendal bank yesterday.
The card screening device was found on the external ATM machine at the Royal Bank of Scotland on Market Place at 12.15 yesterday afternoon.
Police do not know when the device was fitted but, as it was found intact, it is considered unlikely that card details of anyone using this machine have been obtained.
However, police have advised anyone who used that machine yesterday morning to check their bank account for any suspicious activity.
Anyone who witnesses suspicious activity in the area should contact Cumbria Police on 0845 33 00 247.
