POLICE are appealing for witnesses following an altercation about parking in Barrow.
The incident on Scott Street at around 2.35pm on Thursday (October 15) involved a woman postal worker and a man driving a black car.
The postwoman later reported a public order incident to the police.
Anyone who may know the identity of the driver or who witnessed the incident is asked to contact PC 1982 Edmondson on 0845 33 00 247.
