COUNCILLORS in Silverdale hope to replace vandalised public seats with recycled plastic benches.
Wooden memorial seats were ripped from the footpath at Silverdale Cove by vandals in July and used to fuel a bonfire.
At a meeting of Silverdale Parish Council this month councillors said they hoped to replace the benches with seats made from recycled plastic.
The street furniture will be discussed again at the next meeting of the parish council in November.
