GRANGE Town Council is to write to invite a member of senior management at South Lakeland District Council to attend their next meeting to tell them why there has been a further delay in the reinstatement of the Clare House Lane footbridge.
The matter was due to appear at an SLDC cabinet meeting on September 16, however it was delayed as information was still required on the final cost expected.
Mayor of Grange Jane Strawbridge, speaking at a meeting of Grange Town Council on Monday, said: “It is highly unsatisfactory that it appears to be slipping again.”
