A FOUR-part strategy has been suggested to secure the future of minor train lines, including the Settle-Carlisle line.
The Strategic Rail Authority claims the proposals would boost passenger numbers and revenue, involve local communities in the railways more, make better use of Government funding, and boost tourism.
Responses to the proposals will help shape a strategy to be published in July.
