FOURTEEN members of Patterdale Mountain Rescue Team took an injured man off the fell path above Glenridding Beck on Saturday evening (28).
Assisted by ambulance crew, the man, from Leicestershire, was treated at the scene for a suspected broken leg.
The 21-year-old was then stretchered to Greenside mines, from where he was taken to the Cumberland Infirmary at Carlisle.
