THE environmental future of Cumbria will be the subject for debate at a conference supported by the North West Regional Assembly at Rheged, near Penrith, on Wednesday March 10.
The event is an opportunity for local authorities, members of the public, charities and contractors to discuss the future of waste and recycling in the region.
Councillor Bryan Metz, Chairman of Eden District Council Environment Committee said: "This excellent opportunity should not be missed by anyone interested in the environmental future of the area."
