IN this week's Prizetime I'm giving you the opportunity to own a genuine original piece of modern art from one of the County's up and coming artists.
Oliver Scott-Mumby, is the artist and driving force behind Citizen Moose and has developed a special style of digital painting using computers and digital cameras.
The Citizen Moose website is a colourful archive of original graphic artwork and photography which reflect Mr Scott-Mumby's influences including Picasso, Warhol and Lichtenstein and the Manga style of Japanese comic book art.
Citizen Moose portraits are created from photographs of the subject and they use range of techniques and up to date computer software to create a unique effect. Afterwards almost any alteration to the image can be made, such as hairstyle or eye colour. Even the background colours of the painting can be altered to match the dcor of the room where the picture will hang.
Citizen Moose also have a range of Lakeland landscapes which can be viewed and purchased at www.citizenmoose.com. They also offer a range of other services such as photo restoration or tinting, digital image manipulation and web design. For information call 01539-821625 or email info@ citizenmoose.com We've teamed up with Citizen Moose and are offering one lucky reader the chance to have their portrait painted from one of their favourite photographs and reproduced as a giant poster approximately 20x30ins in size.
