"I WAS disappointed with the result, but we caught Bishop Auckland on the crest of a wave, having won the UniBond Team of the Month award, and they they looked a formidable outfit.
"Apart from the first 15 minutes, when we looked as if we would get among them and the last 20 when we played some good football, they controlled the game.
"We played a 4-3-3 system, which was new to the players and maybe did not suit them.
"I was pleased with the performance of David Woodruffe and Haddow and Rigby also put on a good display.
"Unfortunately we lack the killer instinct in the 18-yard area, which is something I have to remedy. I hope to sign another striker before the weekend, but gilt-edged strikers do not grow on trees and are difficult to acquire for a team in our position.
"I have not seen tomorrow's opponents Guiseley for a number of years, but they are mid-table and we will go there with the object of taking points."
