SECURING new business units in Kendal is to be a top priority for Cumbria Chamber of Commerce in the next six months. George Read, chairman of the chamber's Kendal and South Lakes affinity group, said the group would be striving to tackle the key issue.
Chamber members are due to hold a joint meeting with the Kendal Partnership group on December 16 to look at possible business land and sites in the town, in advance of discussions on the issue by South Lakeland District Council. The chamber is keen to secure incubation units for fledgling businesses.
