ART

CUMBRIA Sculptors are exhibiting their work at Fairfield Mill, Garsdale Road, Sedbergh. On display is a wide range of sculptures in various media, from ceramics to resin stone and semi-precious stones to works in soapstone and bronze. The exhibition will run until December 3 and is open from 10.30am–5pm (last admission 4.30pm) daily.

PENRITH-based artist Mark Huit is displaying pieces of his work at Abbot Hall Coffee Shop at Kendal. The exhibition, entitled End Game, features17 prints on wood in a semi-abstract and colourist style. His work will be displayed until December 24.

LOCAL author Len Clark will be signing copies of his new book, On and Off the Rails – The Life of a Westmorland Railwayman, at Kendal Library between 10am and noon tomorrow (Saturday).
