Furness Enterprise held their Business 2 Business Exhibition in the Coronation Hall on Tuesday 30th September.
The exhibition gives local businesses a chance to network with one another, grant information is available and information about a free seminar on 6 steps to a better business.
Around 15 businesses set out their stalls in the main hall of the Coronation Hall. There were many members of the public seeking out the services of Web Site providers to Security Systems and Health and Safety experts.
During the event Furness Enterprise organise the competition for "Entrepreneur of the Year". This years entries were Katie Holmes - Sting in the Tail, Rob Benson - Kingfisher Seafoods, Tom Bowden - Working Class Heroes, Douglas Gillam - Gillam's Tea Rooms and Michelle Scrogham - Pure. Each entrepreneur has a 20minute interview with members of a panel of judges.
I was given the task of presenting the prise of a cheque for £1000 to this years winner, who was Tom Bowden of Working Class Heroes. Well done Tom.
