Charter Walk - Sunday 7th September and the Charter Walk started in The Gill, Ulverston. Around 20 people of mixed age including children met our guides for the morning, they were Jean and Steve Povey.
Jean our main guide took us on a 3 mile walk following the Town Beck. On the way Jean pointed out historical buildings and areas that were connected to the Town Beck in someway. It was a gentle, interesting walk on a rare sunny morning.
Charter Fun Run - Late Sunday afternoon, I met up with the Charter Princess, her Deputy and Jo Ward the Charter co-ordinator to present the prizes for the Charter Fun Run organised by Hoad Hill Harriers. This is always a well attended event with runners from all over the District taking part.
Earlier in the afternoon, competitors had taken part in a 5K and a 1.6K Fun Run.
Charter Flamenco - After the presentations for the Fun Run the girls and I went to the Flamenco Workshop and Performance.
We sat and listened to the Guitar Workshop and I watched the Princesses who took part in the Flamenco Workshop, I have to admit they were very good and quick learners.
