Alan and his support team
Cllr. Pat Jones one of Ulverston Town Councillors asked me if I would like to meet a friend of hers, who was undertaking a Motor Bike Ride round the Coastline of Britain in sponsorship for a Cancer Charity.
Pat has known Cllr. Alan Neal Ex Mayor of Rossendale for some time. Before returning to the area Pat was a Parish Councillor in the Rossendale area. During the afternoon of Saturday the 6th September I went up to Pat's house for a cup of tea and a chat with Alan and his team before they set off on their journey to Scotland.
