A LOCAL man who was seriously hurt in a road traffic accident at Arkholme in the early hours of yesterday (Saturday) morning has died from his injuries.
The fifty-two-year-old man, who is expected to be named later today, was taken to the Lancaster Royal Infirmary, after suffering serious head and chest injuries in a collision on the B6254 in north Lancashire.
Sadly, he died from these injuries at around 7.15pm yesterday evening.
At this time, Lancashire Police believe only one vehicle –the victim’s Ford Mondeo- was involved in the incident, although a full investigation into its cause continues.
