Chilled out in Nebraska, North Platte. High pressure moving in over the central plains and little chance for anything down there in the next couple of days. The jet stream has moved way up north into Canada and the chance of severe weather moved with it. It has caused much discussion within the team and was in danger of causing a split.

However today we are now in agreement that we have to move further north. The distance has had a bearing on the decision and we only have to move about 200 miles into South Dakota. There we will just camp up, sit and wait. It looks like we will be in that area for a few days and may need to consider moving back into the central plains Monday or Tusday. I am hopeful for storms this afternoon whilst some of the others are not. Pete the pessimist says "Pessimists are never disapointed" and thinks we will get nothing. We don't need to move until check out at 11.00pm.
