As the curtain starts to come down on another football season, I can't help wondering why Leeds United seem to be so unpopular just now.
I went to see Plymouth Argyle's last match of the season at Hull City on Sunday - we won 2-1 despite missing a penalty and hitting the post.
The game took a good 15 minutes to get going, and during that time the home and away supporters found some unusually common ground singing some anti-Leeds chants.
'Stand up if you hate Leeds' was fairly predictable, but 'Dennis Wise is a football genius' lingers longer in the memory.
With their relegation all but certain, Leeds had gone into administration and had 10 points deducted.
It means, assuming their finances are now sorted out, they won't suffer a similar penalty next season, when they'll be playing in League One (the old Third Division).
While it's perhaps easy to mock the afflicted, I sincerely hope Leeds are a stronger and better team next season. Their absence will make the Championship a weaker league.
