The art of blogging has passed me by up until now but, having read my esteemed colleagues' words of wisdoms about their respective teams, I thought it was about time my beloved Greens got a look in.
I'm a born-and-bred Plymothian and I've been following my home town team, Plymouth Argyle, for just about as long as I can remember.
I was at Villa Park in 1984 when we lost an FA Cup semi-final against Watford 1-0. And history repeated itself on Sunday night when we lost to the same opponents by the same scoreline in the quarter final.
Yes, we were the better team, even seen through my blinkered eyes, and yes we had loads more shots on goal, but it was one of those games where we could have played all night and still not scored.
Is the Pilgrims’ season over? The answer is probably yes, but you never know…
