An upcoming festival in south Cumbria has sold out with a record number of attendees expected this weekend.
The Kendal Whisky Festival will be taking place on Friday, December 6 and Saturday, December 7 at Kendal Town Hall, featuring exhibitors from England, Scotland and around the world.

The event organisers have revealed that 1,000 people will be making the fourth edition of the event one to remember with visitors coming from all around the globe.
Dwayne Miller of the Kendal Whisky Festival said: “The festival is now a highlight in Kendal’s social calendar and in the whisky festival calendar around the world, so we are looking forward for the weekend."
A record 43 exhibitors will be taking part this year with the Tomatin Distillery from Scotland acting as the main sponsor of the event.
A collection of 'very special guests' will be involved including Dave Broom, master of the Quaich, along with masterclasses from some of the 'biggest names in whisky' to firmly put Kendal on the map.
