People in south Cumbria are being encouraged to make their towns a more colourful as part of a fundraiser in the New Year.
The hope is to bring in donations for St John's Hospice, which supports people in North Lancashire, South Lakes and parts of North Yorkshire.
The fundraiser will run throughout January, with participants encouraged to take on various challenges across the month.

Every day, a task must be completed - whether it being reading for 31 minutes, completing 31 star jumps, or doing 31 random acts of kindness before February rolls around.
The only stipulation is that participants must complete the challenges whilst wearing colourful clothes, with photos then posted on the Facebook page.
It will cost £10 to enter or £30 for a family, with prizes given for the highest number of pictures submitted, the best costumes, and the best dog costumes.
Further donations can be made through the Facebook page or by visiting the fundraising website here.
