Two drivers were taken to hospital yesterday evening (November 26) after a crash on the A590.
The collision between a Mercedes van and a Vauxhall Corsa happened close to the BP garage on the outskirts of Ulverston just after 6.20pm.
Cumbria Police closed the road while North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) paramedics worked at the scene.

Traffic was reported to be flowing out of Ulverston by members of the public but at a standstill on way in.
A spokesperson for Cumbria Police said: "The incident was reported at 6.24pm. The road was closed whilst police and NWAS worked at scene.
"Drivers of both vehicles were taken to hospital. Injuries not expected to be life-threatening or life-altering.
"The road reopened at around 8.30pm."
