The UK's largest gym operator, PureGym, is set to open a new site in Kendal.
The gym, located on Queen Katherine's Road, will open its doors on December 20 at 12pm.
The 5,000 sq ft facility will provide Kendal and its surrounding areas with 24/7 access to fitness with zero-contract memberships.
PureGym Kendal will be equipped with hundreds of fitness machines, a combined functional and class space, a free weights area, fixed resistance, and cardio equipment.
Members will get free on-site parking and access to a variety of classes.
Certified personal trainers will be available to support clients, and a free initial exercise induction will be provided.
The new gym will create approximately five jobs in the health and fitness sector.
A PureGym spokesperson said: "Following sustained demand for PureGym's affordable, flexible fitness offering in Cumbria, we are excited to be expanding our presence with a brand-new gym in Kendal.
"Our newest club will provide members with 24/7 access to low-cost, high-quality fitness facilities to help them to smash their workouts and leave feeling their best.
"We can't wait to welcome members through the doors of PureGym Kendal – sign up to our opening offer now."
PureGym has a TrainSafe commitment and have installed automated external defibrillators (AEDs) in all of their gyms.
They are also looking for members to train as personal trainers through their Personal Training Academy.
According to the company, the program trains candidates to become certified personal trainers in 14 weeks, with a job guaranteed upon completion.
