A festive event in Ulverston is making its long awaited return this weekend after being cancelled last year.
The Hoad Hill Xmas Pudding 10k will take place on Sunday, December 1 at the Glaxo Sports Club on North Lonsdale Road at 11.30am, with a one-mile fun run happening beforehand at 11am.
Attracting over 200 runners every year, the event was disrupted in 2023 thanks to heavy snowfall which means anticipation is building ahead of Sunday.
Pre-entries can be made online using the link here, which will cost £10 plus booking fee for club affiliated runners and £12 for unaffiliated participants.
Runners can also enter on the morning from 10.15am for an extra £3 with the fun run costing £4.
All finishers will receive a memento, with prizes for the top runners, and new this year is a winner’s trophy for under-16's in the 10k race with the minimum age limit for the race set at 15 years.
