Jack Rhodes has been handed the Rising Star Award from the Magic Circle.
The Ulverston-born magician and Britain's Got Talent runner up was given the accolade by President of the Magic Circle Marvin Berglas.
This came whilst Jack was supporting Junior Day for the Young Magician’s Club (YMC), which is organised by Edward Hilsum and Harry De Cruz to inspire the next generation looking to take up the craft.

Jack said: "I had absolutely no idea, it was a complete surprise so it really means a lot.
"It's an amazing title to be given, if just because lots of the previous winners have gone on to be really successful in their careers."
For Jack, however, the best part of visiting the annual event at the Magic Circle was getting to witness all the talent that is rising up in the country.
"What was nice is that lots of the kids have seen me on YouTube and have then decided to give it a try," he explained.
"I was told that they were listing me as their favourite magician, which obviously means a lot and shows that I'm doing something right."

For the time being, Jack isn't worried about any of the youngsters competing with him for stage time - though he does not think it will be long.
"They're the future of magic - honestly, there were 11 and 12-year-olds doing things that I can barely do now," he said.
"When I started practising magic, it was seen as this weird hobby, so I would have loved to have had something like the YMC to show I wasn't the only one doing it.
"It's an amazing hobby to get involved with for children, because it helps them learn new skills, teaches them things like patience and how to interact in social settings, and most importantly, it means they're not constantly on their phones."
The newly crowned 'Rising Star' will be performing a special one-off show in Ulverston on Friday, December 6 and there are still a few seats available, which you can find out more about here.
