The schedule has been shared for the Remembrance Day service in Ulverston, along with the road closures that will be in place.
The service will start at Ulverston Parish Church at 2.30pm, with no parade to the church itself this year.
The procession will then parade along Church Walk and King Street to Market Place for the laying of wreaths at approximately 3.40pm, with full road closures in effect.
The council explained that the lack of an initial parade was due to the possibility of the police not being able to assist with the event.
A spokesperson added: "Unfortunately despite the traffic qualification, staff and volunteers assisting with the road closures would not be able to pull any vehicles over who may be approaching the parade.
"The police have confirmed they are now able to support the parade but if they are called to a serious incident elsewhere, Town Council staff and volunteers will be required to run the parade without them."
There will also be a short act of Remembrance at the War Memorial from 10.50am to 11am on Monday, November 11 led by the Royal British Legion.
