Tickets to see the annual Christmas Eve screening of the classic seasonal film, It’s A Wonderful Life at The Roxy Cinema in Ulverston are selling out fast.
It’s time to settle down and enjoy the show with mince pies, carols and festive fun.
The 1946 film centres around George Bailey, a small-town man whose situation seems so desperate he is thinking about ending his own life.
Although George had always wanted to leave home to see the world, circumstances and his own good heart led him to stay.
He sacrificed his education for his brother's, kept the family-run savings and loan afloat, protected the town from the avarice of the greedy banker Mr. Potter, and married his childhood sweetheart.
As George prepares to jump from a bridge, his guardian angel appears to show him what would have happened if he had never lived.
The Roxy said: “This is usually a sell-out, so don't delay - book today!”
The film will be showing at 11am on 11am on Christmas Eve, you can grab your ticket here.
