The M6 is currently facing a 'full closure' following a road traffic collision on the motorway.
Lancashire Police provided the update at 11.48am on Wednesday, November 6, with offers said to be at the scene.
The incident has led to the closure of the M6 in both directions between Junctions 32 and 33, particularly impacting travel into Preston and Lancashire.
The police confirmed that the closure is likely to be in place for a 'number of hours', with officers thanking commuters for their patience.
