A WOMAN was taken to hospital after falling over and banging her head in Penrith town centre.
Eden police were out on patrol on Wednesday in some of the hotspot areas of anti-social behaviour.
Whilst on patrol, officers helped members of the public after a woman had 'fallen over and banged her head' - with the North West Ambulance Service taking the lady to hospital.
In a statement on social media, Eden police said: "As part of our Anti Social Behaviour patrols, we have been on foot patrol in our hotspot areas. Tonight we assisted members of the public with a female who had fallen over and banged her head. An ambulance was called and the female was taken to hospital.
"Thank you to the members of the public who assisted the lady and to the North West Ambulance service for taking care of the lady. We have also completed a number of 'it's your choice forms' for young people, causing a nuisance in the town."
