TRIBUTES have poured in for a leading estate agent and podcaster who died aged 38 after a long battle with breast cancer.
Sarah Edmundson, who lived in the Lyth Valley near Bowland Bridge, was the owner of training organisation Estate Agency Allstars, the chief executive officer of Agents Together and a supporter of the Women in Estate Agency group.
A joint statement put out by the group read: "It is with unbearable sadness that we have to share the heartbreaking news of the untimely passing of our beautiful friend and colleague, Sarah Edmundson."
Sarah ran a podcast with neighbour Jeremy Langmead, who has prostate cancer, called 'How Long Have You Got?' after she reached out to him following an article he had written about his diagnosis.
Their podcast covered a wide variety of topics related to cancer, seeking to de-mystify the subject, and even had a guest appearance from celebrity Stephen Fry who has lived with prostate cancer since 2018.
Jeremy said that by the time they met, a year later, she had a bi-lateral mastectomy with full reconstruction and was on her third round of chemotherapy. Tragically, Sarah had triple negative breast cancer, an aggressive form of the disease, which moved her prognosis to treatable not curable.
In June Sarah and Jeremy took part in the MacMillan Might Hike, a half-marathon fundraiser, despite Sarah struggling with walking.

"She insisted that she at least took part in some of the hike," Jeremy said. "With her typical determination and stubbornness, however, she topped up on painkillers and completed the whole thing. I don't think I've ever been more proud of anyone in my life."
Jeremy added that Sarah was 'so thrilled' they had raised nearly £24,000.
"Sarah was a 38-year-old woman who, despite having incurable cancer, was stubbornly determined to live every moment to the fullest. And she succeeded," he said.
"She seemed to know everyone, have been everywhere, achieved so much - in hospitality and real estate - and was adored by all. She will be remembered as someone who loved her life and helped others love theirs."
