A SECTION of the M6 has now reopened following what has been described as a serious collision.
The motorway was closed southbound between junctions 36 and 39 following the incident last night.
According to National Highways a car left the carriageway and overturned.
Police and paramedics attended the scene.
It was closed for a number of hours as police carried out investigations at the scene.
