An accident on the M6 this afternoon has forced one lane to be closed in a southbound direction.
The incident was first reported at around 2.50pm on Friday, October 25, with slow traffic said to be partially blocked.
Commuters are largely impacted between Junction 33 towards the A6 and Junction 32 to the M55.
This is affecting travel to Preston and the south of Lancaster, as well as to the Broughton Interchange.
Whilst the accident has happened outside of Cumbria, the AA is reporting that delays can be expected as people travel in a southward direction.
You can get the latest updates about your journey and how to avoid any delays by visiting the AA Route Planner page.
