A Windermere-based travel company has struck gold after picking up an award victory this week.
Mountain Goat, which runs tours across the Lake District and the rest of the country, received the prestigious Visit England Gold Accolade for 'outstanding excellence in tourism' during the 2023/2024 season.
The award was presented to the team on Tuesday, October 22 by Lady Victoria Borwick, Chairman of Visit England, at a special ceremony held at the British Motor Museum.
Robin Tyson, the Managing Director, said: "We’re absolutely delighted to receive this accolade from Visit England.
"Our team at Mountain Goat works incredibly hard to provide the highest level of customer service and deliver exceptional experiences to all our guests."
The company took the time to share its heartfelt thanks to their customers for their continued support.
They added: "This recognition is not only a testament to the company’s commitment to excellence but also to the collaborative efforts of the entire tourism community that Mountain Goat is proud to be part of."
