A new sports facility has opened its doors in south Cumbria that can be used by everyone in the community.
Ulverston Victoria High School (UVHS) announced last week that, having worked in partnership with Community Sports Arenas CIC, they were now able to open the new site at the school.
According to UVHS, 'huge' developments have been taking place across the summer, with the facilities now available to hire by the public.
The new site will cater for football, rugby, table tennis, badminton, climbing, pickleball, netball, basketball, cricket, athletics and many other sports.
These will be held across two 3G pitches, an activity hall, and a large sports hall.
Going forward, Community Sports Arenas CIC will oversee the management of the facility, including all bookings and enquiries.
To find out more about the site, you can contact info@communitysportsarenas.co.uk or phone 07887 709972.
