A TOWN will mark the 100th anniversary of its memorial being unveiled with an enactment of the original ceremony.

Carnforth's war memorial will mark the anniversary on November 9.

The memorial incorporates the figure of a World War One soldier, known as a 'Tommy.' This figure is one of only six 'Band of Brothers' memorials located across the UK created by sculptor Percy Bentham.
