A mountain rescue team in the Lake District were kept busy this weekend following two separate call outs.
Langdale and Ambleside MRT attended two incidents on Saturday, October 20, firstly at Loughrigg Fell near Ambleside and Brant Fell near Windermere.
The initial call out took place at 1.30pm and involved a woman who had fallen whilst enjoying an afternoon walk.
A spokesperson from the MRT said: "We treated her before carrying her back down to a waiting ambulance so that she could be taken for further treatment."
The second incident involved another person falling, though they were unable to move due to 'extreme pain' in their back.
"We treated them and again carried them to an ambulance so they could be taken for further treatment.
"We wish both our casualties the best."
