EIGHT eating establishments in South Cumbria have been awarded a new five-star food hygiene rating, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.
The following ratings have been given to restaurants and cafes in Westmorland and Furness:
Rated 5: Homeground Coffee and Kitchen at Main Road, Windermere; rated on October 1
• Rated 5: Dapper Delights at 31 Portland Walk, Barrow-In-Furness, Cumbria; rated on September 26
• Rated 5: Starbucks at Walney Road, Barrow In Furness, Cumbria; rated on September 11
• Rated 4: Taj Mahal at 56 Cavendish Street, Barrow-In-Furness, Cumbria; rated on August 15
Pubs, bars and nightclubs
• Rated 5: The Miles Thompson at Shearman House, Allhallows Lane, Kendal; rated on October 7
