A MAN has appeared in court charged with raping a woman.
William Proctor, 36, of Rusland, near Ulverston, is said to have committed the offence in Grange-over-Sands in 2022.
Proctor was granted unconditional bail when he appeared at South Cumbria Magistrates’ Court in Barrow on October 14.
No indication of plea was indicated.
He will next appear at Preston Crown Court for a plea and trial preparation hearing on November 11.
