A singer who has travelled the globe will be returning home later this month for a special performance.
Chris Bannister, who has been paying tribute to American great John Denver for 14 years, will be performing at St Mark's Church in Natland on Saturday, October 26 from 7.30pm.
Chris described the church as 'one of his favourite venues' because of the excellent acoustics and the warm welcome he always receives from audiences in the Kendal area.
Originally from Lancashire, Chris has taken to the road over the past two years, performing to audiences across the world, from Australia, the USA, Japan and Europe, bringing his love of the songs of John Denver to a much wider audience.
At his St Mark's show, he will be performing predominantly the songs of John Denver, along with a few of his own recent compositions written whilst performing in Nova Scotia.
