A pub in south Cumbria reopened its doors this weekend with a new look team and menu.
The Royal Oak in Spark Bridge welcomed customers on Saturday, October 12, boasting a new range of beers and ales.
This came after it was reported last year that the Stonegate Pub Company, the previous owners of the site, were looking to sell the pub to help a £2.6 billion debt pile.
The new team said: "Thank you to everyone that came to visit us on our opening day.
"We’d just like to take this opportunity to thank you for your ongoing support and huge welcome to the village."
Extended improvement works were carried out last month, which slightly delayed the grand reopening, but that meant locals were even more enthusiastic to walk through the doors.
