Rural police in South Lakes pulled over a driver during a routine inspection on October 5 who had a tyre 'worn so badly the cord was exposed.'

Man sentenced after stealing expensive coat

Ryan Palmer, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to stealing a coat valued at £199.99 belonging to TK Maxx on Stricklandgate in Kendal.

Man stole thousands from Brewery Arts Centre

A site manager has been ordered to pay compensation after he admitted to stealing thousands of pounds from the popular entertainment venue.
