A MAN who sent messages to a woman and turned up at her home has been convicted of harassment.
Scott Wagstaff committed the offence in Barrow over the course of nearly a year, South Cumbria Magistrates' Court heard.
The 37-year-old called the woman, sent messages, left voicemails and turned up at her address between June 14 2023 and March 7 2024, the court was told.
Wagstaff admitted a charge of harassment without violence and was sentenced to a community order.
The defendant, of Hest View Road in Ulverston, was told to complete 100 hours of unpaid work and banned from contact with the woman under a two-year restraining order.
