One of South Lakeland's 'best kept secrets' is opening its doors to celebrate Halloween.
Millerbeck Light Railway, found in Staveley-in-Cartmel near Newby Bridge, will be hosting two open days on Saturday, October 26 and Sunday, October 27.
The 7¼" gauge railway only opens a limited number of days every year and so it is always a special occasion whenever it welcomes locals and residents to its grounds.
The railway often runs four or five passenger trains at the same time, offering a selection of steam, diesel, and electric locomotives, all of which will be specially decorated to fit this spooky time of year.
With the open days expected to be very popular and only a certain number of spaces available, those interested in visiting are advised to book as soon as possible.
You can grab your tickets - priced at £10.95 for adults and £7.95 for children - by visiting the website here.
