People in their 'golden years' living in Ulverston have been the targets of recent anti-social behaviour.
The Ulverston and South Lakes Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) revealed that they have received various reports of incidents across the past two weeks.
These have largely involved people knocking or kicking doors, ringing door bells and then running away.
The majority of the incidents were said to have taken place on the Croftlands Estate and around the Central Drive area.
A spokesperson from the NPT commented: "Some of the residents who are being affected by this ASB are in their golden years and live alone.
"Clearly this behaviour is very upsetting and frightening especially now the dark nights are upon us.
"We would ask all parents to check what their children are doing when they are out and about during the evening."
